yea.... i have the same comment on leica SG....

from early nov push to mid nov to end nov. now december alrdy.... wonder if really will get a call from them tomorrow or thurs...

this is my first rebadged leica too... after waiting so long kind of lost interest... maybe shld have went for the lx100

Can still get the LX100 if you want. Personally, if image quality is a prime consideration, I find that it still cannot match or beat that of an Olympus m43 camera. So spending that much more for the red badge version for the same image quality is not really good value for money.

good point raised, but i think the IQ and flexibility from this compact with a fairly large sensor is good enough for me over going back to keeping an m4/3 system. this is like a spare camera or social gathering camera. Goingg for Leica this time as i am not really a fan of the pany colors from past experience of using the GF1, LX1, LX3, GM1. Oly colors are much nicer, and hope that the "leica tweaked" jpg colors are nicer...
 

unfortunately it will be mine too. wanted to buy this for my trip to japan and preordered it in advance based on the assumption that singapore will get it first and the availability during mid nov. Saw it on the shelves in Japan when I was there but after I returned, it was still not available in singapore. I thought it is a plot by leica singapore to make us preorder by paying upfront for the camera. Quite dishonest plot I would say. BTW how much did u pay for it in hkg??
 

Anybody actually using the leather case? I find it very cumbersome, especially the fact that it restricts access to the the battery and SD card.

Also, has anyone experimented with 43mm filters specifically of the ND variety on this? I can't seem to find 43mm B+W ND filters around here.
 

probably have to find them on ebay....

Try John 3:16? I bought some odd-sized filter from them earlier. Or you can buy a adapter ring, maybe 43-46 or 43-52
 

How much is the leica and the lx100?

yeap.... i ended up buying the auto lens cap too... giving the grip a miss hehe..... finally collect after what seems like an eternity.
