just upgraded the firmware for my GX8 body, 12-35 and 35-100 lens.
just play a bit with the GX8, the ergonomics is good for my hand because it's good that the GX8 is a bit bigger than the GX7 which was a bit small for my hand. Feels good holding it ...
but no in-built flash on the GX8, the wifi button located in the touch screen now instead of a hard button.
now can have the choice to select which dial (ie front dial or back dial) to control Aperture or Shutter Speed ... (like Olympus)

Thought it was written for Japanese model only? So ok to update?
Updated without problem.
My gx8 body is now version 1.1 and both 12-35 and 35-100 lens are now version 1.3

Only the Nocticron and 14-140. Already updated a few weeks ago.
OIC but why you haven't update your GX8 body ?

The new lens firmware came out much earlier.
The new gx8 firmware only mentioned improvement for NFC and as it also stated jap model only so i never did update.
Is it ? But the GX8 body can detect that Ver 1.0 is outdated and prompt you whether you want to update to Ver 1.1 leh ...
Black match the lens better bcos most of the lens are black :thumbsup:
match color so wife won't notice the difference...
