Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8

no worries. It's a nifty lens really worth trying

Found it in panny website. Really small pancake like lens.
I still have not purchase the GX8 yet. Waiting for the big push to get it. haha

For me it's the pull factor. But current pricing is holding me back :p

For me, I am waiting for the Body Only ....

Since I don't know when that will be and fed up with the attitude of Panny, I have now purchased the Fuji XT-1 with 18-55 kit lens from up north ...

Panasonic should be ok... No sweat

Yeah Panasonic's product quite lasting I must say ... but since I already spend on the Fuji XT-1, I will get this GX8 only when the BODY ONLY option arrives ... :)

cheers

I bought my work laptop home tonight as i have Lightroom CC on it which can recognize and handle the GX8 raw files.
Still processing, but first impressions shooting with Nocticron 42.5mm is the overall richness of the new image files are noticeable.
Everything's got that extra bit of depth to it colour wise...pretty happy with what I see so far...

you compare (GX8 + Nocticron 42.5mm) with (GX7 + Nocticron 42.5mm) ?

Thanks

Not like for like shots, as i couldn't be bothered carrying 2 cameras around on Saturday night.
More based on shooting the same location multiple times under the same conditions...and then processing them in Lightroom in which I spend a lot of time doing post...

I'm a design professional in my day job, with the amount of time i spend in PS and LR I can see clear differences in the files.

I'm still going to keep my GX7, as I know I will use it under certain conditions...I like primes, and having 2 preferred focal lengths working across 2 similar bodies is a bonus

Here's some examples posted straight out of camera raw (no processing at all )....sent via Lightroom CC mobile...
in the files I have started processing I have more room to move laterally in dialling up or down the properties of the image...the Nocticron 42.5 helps a lot too... :DGx8 raw file test..Straight out of camera by Presence Inc, on Flickr[/IMG]

Wanted to take some night shots but due to haze, couldn't do it. Managed to take one this morning.
