effectiveness I have not been able to try myself yetBut one thing is for sure, Dual-IS only works with Pana lenses with built in IS (so one also gets limited coming to lens choice).
Dual-IS is not really new, Sony have been using it on their FF A7? II series of mirrorless. But looking at the users post, its still lack behind the offering from Oly.
As Panny & Oly share the same m43 sensor size, it would be good to see a comparison on which solution is more effective.
One thing I still lamenting why is it a 2.5mm input? I thought they have do away with it after their GH2.
Curious to know how effective is the Dual -IS system (compared to those in OMD). And also why is the Microphone jack using a 2.5mm input?

Even the newer 42.5/1.7 and 30/2.8 doesn't seem to be happening in SG. I think I only saw some mock display pieces at one of the shops and that's all.
If anything I hope they are reading this and understand that there are good people in CS who can help them promote too.

When I was checking about the 42.5mm/1.7 2-3 weeks ago, SLRR said they already had stock and MS Color said they were waiting for stock

GX8 shall be available in Singapore by end of this year, and it will not be cheaper than E-M1.
Digital Life on 26th Aug said that it will be available end of next month at $1,699 together with the 14-42 II lens
