I just saw on the net that panny USA is extending warranty for 3 years for new purchases till Mar 2016.
Hope our panny sg is following too.

Will be getting one. Was offer a very good deal for em5 mark 2 but turned it down.

Question is does pany price drop very fast after the launch?

Don't think so. The Panny's price quite steady and steady and stubborn one !

Pany has the best app among all the manufacturers. For me, I using it for both video and still. Would like to try the 4k photo mode. Interesting idea.

For me, I have been using the GH4 and GX7 and Sony VG30.

The 4K on the GH4 is great while the 2-axis stabilization is great.

Now what GX8 has both 4K and in-camera stabilization, this makes it a great camera for me.

I just hope the GX8 for S'pore's version can record continuous beyond 29mins

I hope panny sg will include in the kits some free gifts like extra battery or flash.

I don't think so Panny will offer that combo but I could be wrong.

The 12-35, being a premium lens, will be bundled with the GH series. Also, since the Digital life has written that it will be bundled with the 14-42 II lens, chances are it will not be bundled with the 12-35. I think Panny would not be bothered to do extra works to come up with so many bundles/package/kit lens. I think it is fair to say that Panny's marketing/publicity dept is not so ON like Apple lah ... :bsmilie:

If you go to panny sg's website at http://www.panasonic.com/sg/consume...ix-g-digital-single-lens-mirrorless-dslm.html, it looks like the GX8 will be sold in 3 possible configurations in SG: DMC-GX8 (body alone), DMC-GX8A (with 12-35mm 2.8 lens) and DMC-GX8K (with 14-42mm kit lens). Looking forward to pricing and availability.
