If you go to panny sg's website at http://www.panasonic.com/sg/consume...ix-g-digital-single-lens-mirrorless-dslm.html, it looks like the GX8 will be sold in 3 possible configurations in SG: DMC-GX8 (body alone), DMC-GX8A (with 12-35mm 2.8 lens) and DMC-GX8K (with 14-42mm kit lens). Looking forward to pricing and availability.

Just heard that stock is in for M S Color... However it seems that it is only available in kit form with the 14-42mm. No options for body-only or with the 12-35 f2.8 as the kit lens. Have asked Panasonic Singapore about it but yet to get a reply. I think that Panasonic is not taking photographers in Singapore seriously compared to in the UK/Europe!

Alan Photo mentioned there will be a 12-35mm kit version but no body only option as well. Stocks to come in on Friday.
Click has the 14-42mm kit today.

14-42 kit is $14XX
12-35 kit is $23XX

The body only option I guess will be available several weeks later after kit version is launched just like other models.

I saw on Carousell someone selling the GX8 with 14-42 kit at $1460 and 12-35 kit at $2310 , local set with free delivery.

Free 16gb and case.

Can use as a reference and guide.

Problem is I already have the 12-35 F2.8 lens & I don't need the 14-42 kit lens ...

No it never happens for GX7 in SG. So far the body only option was only available for the GH class if I remember correctly.

I tried the gx8, built is top notch and feels much bulkier than the gx7.

True also, we dunno what will the body only price ... then again we are not even sure if there is one ...

But then, the RRP of $1,499 with 14-42 lens is also cheaper than the $1,699 suggested by Digital Life a few weeks ago ...

Btw, what is the street price of the 14-42 kits lens ?
