Hi,
I bought a third party battery for $35 from MS 3 weeks ago. If you have upgraded your firmware to latest version this battery might not work. They have quoted original battery for $150.

I was at Courts Megastore Tampines yesterday and they are selling limited sets of G1 for $599. When I was there, only left 1 red set. Very tempted to get it as it is even cheaper than my LX3. A guy was testing it, I guess he must have bought it coz the price is really good!

Were those pictures taken with the Panasonic G1 or the Olympus EP1? And just to ask why do you prefer the EP1? Is it the quality of the photos or the 'feel' of the camera? If its the former I have no comment as I've not used the EP1 yet. If its the latter suggest you not take too long before selling the G1. Dirt cheap clearance of the G1 means the GF1 is coming. Meaning your resale value of the G1 will be affected?
BTW, I heard a rumour that Olympus will be releasing the EP2 by Christmas and that it will include a viewfinder. But I'll wait and see before deciding to change from my G1.

I don't think the guys from local Panasonic plans to bring in body only at the moment. Maybe if there is a demand for it.
Chances are, you'd be better off getting it bundled with 20mm f1.7 and then selling the lens because there will be buyers.

I bought a mount adapter to fix Zuiko lens 40-150mm f/4-5.6 lens to my G1.
But when I need to updated the firmware of the lens to my G1. There have no processing.
So i only can use manual focus.
According to the info from the here, http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/connect/g1.html, the lens should be working if updated the firmware successfully.
Anyone can help me?
