earlier on I told ms to call me when the lens arrives.. today they called and I told them buy from Japan amazon at a cheaper price already due to earlier unknown arrival date... hopefully they will feedback/complain to pany SG on their slow stock arrival which causes them to loss much local sales...

I think the retailers will sure make some noise (after hearing our feedbacks) to Pany due to their loss of opportunities... but as whether how Pany can improve the situation.. let time tell.. (the GH3... maybe..? :dunno

When you see how panny can delay the PAL 'Asian' version of GH3, it's quite obvious to see their lack of interest in supplying the Asia market.

Amazon Jp cheap meh? I see its savings is very little when you count in shipping. And u lose the locally warranty. Buy local better since its already around $1680-$1700.

Dunno how long gh3 will take to get here. Heard delay in Manu because of issues with EVF.

Great!! How did you find vpost? My own experience is that vpost service from USA is horrible. Takes close to a month to arrive and their staff don't answer an queries in a timely fashion

Amazon JP is < S$1370 with credit card charges. Add shipping and GST would be < S$1500.

In this particular case, savings abit little to forgo local warranty. Panny Sg not as bad as canon after all after u look at a local $3500 85/1.2 vs hk $2500. $1000 for a 12mth warranty. Lol
