Definitely 17-35.behyx said:So, is the 17-35 or 17-55 f2.8 better in terms of optics quality?
NikLeica said:Singapore's second market for the 17-35 is finally getting mature in pricing. A new one costs S$2100- S$2300 in the US, Japan and HK... Only Singapore is selling for 2700 - 2800.
If u look around some of the posts that were offering grey sets at 2250 recently, u would then realise that there is still some money to be made selling new grey sets at those prices. So someone asking 2k for a used set without warranty in mint condition is competing with those selling grey at 2.2k.
Again using Japan and the US as price efficient benchmarks, the used market ranges from SS$1.4k to 1.7k. Singapore's market as such is getting to those market prices.
PRO advice :thumbsup:alechim said:so called grey, no warranty somemore, once spoil within the first year you gonna 哭爸哭妈 already...so only get original..no $$, be like me 等等等 while you save save save then after that you can BBB

NikLeica said:oh yes.. i think the guys meant original as in lenses with singapore warranty and grey as in lenses without singapore warranty (or even sometimes without any other country's warranty).
as far as i know, they are all original (as in made by nikon).
the difference in only in the warranty applications.....
perhaps those technically inclined may want to read the definitions posted by us photographic companies on what grey means.
have fun!
