i read with interest this thread which discuss "training" the omniremote used on the palm to be used as an olympus remote.

wonder if there's any palm users using minolta who has successfully "trained" their palm to recognise the IR remote control of minolta? it would be really useful especially for long exposures, even if the IR range is limited.

do you mean Digital camera?

as long as the digicam remote is using IR , i think it's possible.

but before you "train" , you will need to have the original remote first.

yeah cos IR remotes use some pulsing thingy... plus the use of 3 or 4 possible freq bands I think u can take eons trying to taikoh a working config...

i'm refering to the remote of Dynax 5 SLR. ya... problem is that i don't have the original remote, so can't try "training".

dynax 5 cannot lar, that one is red illuminator.
