Omnibounce for F32X?

just found the f32x and bought it immediately..

Heehee. Why not just go find a white card or aluminium foil and DIY a bounce card.

I had given up trying to find it with my friend, and as we were looking for a camera bag in one shop at lucky plaza, he noticed it hanging on the wall of the shop and it so happened that the shop had 2 of them left.. one for me and one for my friend.. lucky day...

at first he quoted $450 but then after telling him that CP can give for $350, and after much haggling, we got it for $350.. the guy said it is very hard to get.. even the distributor in japan is asking for the stock to sell back cos other countries are also short of supply...

but knowing my luck, SONY might come out with a new model next week or something... ;p

350 is a fair price considering there is no stock anywhere. If you have any friends in or going to HK. You can get plenty of stock there for about $280. At least that was what I paid for. They never seem to be short of anything in Hong Kong huh?

I got my F32X and Omnibounce from fellow CS'er arikevin on a 2nd hand deal i dunno where he bought it from..
F32X with the F828 is an excellent combination. The chance of getting overly-exposed images are a thing of the past With TTL-mode on you can direct shoot at the subject without suffering white-out. However the F32X is a battery guzzler. If you operate the flash at highest output power, it drains the batt rather quickly. My advice is to prepare several sets of rechargeable batts if u know that you have plenty of flash photography. Once the batt drains down, the flash recharging time can be painfully slow

Why must buy bounce cards? Can we just get white cards and stick them on the cam?

I just got mine today during lunch at KONOTA!! If you are trying to ask around, look out for Omni-Bounce =C= with an orange paper. It will not list "Sony F32X" on the paper. It says "Designed for Canon 380EX, Nikon SB24, 25, 26, Metz 40MZ2, Mionolta 5200i and 5400xi/hs".

I'm not sure if other shops have the same C-'cup', but now you can look around. It sure looks familiar, maybe it's been at the shelves all along!

I tried and it fits perfectly. Although the OB mould is rectangular and the Sony flash-head is slightly curved at the sides, the OB is soft so it expands and fits nicely.

And I bought it at $28! Thanks Uncle Nelson!!!!

Anybody know if there is an Omnibounce for the F32X? Where can I get my hands on a piece? Cathay Photo was closed today, one of the shops nearby had omnibounce, but only for the F1000.

hi newbie question here, why u need an Omnibounce? does nt the built-in diffuser enough for ur shooting requirement?
