These pictures not only showcase some of the camera's present, but most importantly the creamy, smooth bokeh that the 90mm is capable of, while retaining tack sharpness wide open at F2. The falloff is really soothing with the in focus details still crisp and clear, despite it being shot at maximum aperture. All pictures above was shot at F2.

My apologies to all for not being able to show up. I have really wanted to attend this gathering and even brought my gears along with me, hoping my other commitment could end sooner. But it was not meant to be.

Wow, great photos guys and the OM 90f2 was definitely the star of the show. Really fun meeting you guys again and for the first time with Shawn. For people so young, your passion for photography is fascinating. How I wish I am still your age, at a time when one enjoy both film and digital photography to its fullest. I still love those OM lenses and if I am not satisfied with my current K5, I will definitely be back with a 5d2/Om lenses combination.

MWP: I was really disappointed not to have met you. Hope you give us priority the next time.

You are welcome to try out mh 5DMk2 with my Zuiko lenses before you decide to come back to this setup...Just let me know

Gwun Wai: Yeah, your 90mm is a star! Actually most F2 lenses from OMZ are rarities. Thanks for allowing me to test out your lens, really an eye opener.

Yes, the 90mm F2 stole the show!!

I had an enjoyable time, and I will ty to organise them more often. I hope that more people will be able to join us with similar interest in the OM system, for our future outings.

And for that, this thread has become more alive, which is good news.

I usually wind on to the next frame so that my camera's primed and ready for the next shot whenever, whereever. I usually do that for all my cameras, and haven't experienced any failed mechanics due to that practice Maybe a lost frame or 2 due to the soft shutter release that makes the shutter button extra sensitive.

For me, I will only **** the shutter before the next shot, reasons:
-- it will prevent accidental trigger the shutter release, when not taking pic. (miss fire...LOL)
-- when you keep the camera with remaining roll of film, the the spring shutter tension will not be pulled.
