Thanks for your encouragement! I'm new to film photography, just start using the OM1 since Sept last year.
Have one question (but not so related to OM system): I send film to the lab for developing and scanning, but usually I found the scan (16-base), when viewing large, looks not as sharp as digital JPGs on my computer screen. What's about your experience? Do you guys have a scanner at home?
Anyway, more photos to come...
OM1 + Super Ozeck II 28mm f2.8 / Kodak ColorPlus 200
Nice pictures, i love how the greens are rendered here, has a timeless feel to it. Anyway, i believe that a 16 base scan is only good for web viewing, if you need high resolution scans, you need a dedicated scanner or even better, a drum scanner like a imacon scanner will give you scans of up to 150MB.
I use a Minolta dedicated scanner for my 35mm shots and the Canoscan 8800F flatbed scanner for my 120mm shots. I found that the flatbed does pretty OK for medium format but dismal for 35mm.
Keep em coming!
