Long time to go to January.. Good thing for me I don't think I want it. Well may be i want the 9-18/4.0-5.6. a tiny maybe.

wonder if the evf works on ep1? the lcd is still 230k...hope the AF speed is improved

No more retro looking with the new EVF.

Is it an official launch? Bec those pics posted looked like the spy pics from one of the forums. Anyway, I hope the EVF is removable. And if it is the cause of the heavy price tag, I want to be able not to have to buy it.

I can just imagine now... E-P2 + stereo microphone viewfinder attachment + ST-grip (see here) + 14-150mm + Hood-loupe = one mean video machine...

no built-in flash?

Thanks,

Excellent spec'd EVF, that's enough for me to covet it .

Panasonic's new lenses are more interesting though.

.

the G1 also has a viewfinder resolution of 1,440,000 dots.

and its LCD has 460,000 dots. :)

anyone thinking of selling ep1/gf1 for ep2?

seems to not have built in flash and the EVF is removable I guess

sad. not having a built in flash for EP-1 was the deal breaker for me. I thought they would improve with EP-2 but it didn't happen.

Still awaiting for pro-spec m43! :)

i don't mind the lack of built-in flash...however had hoped that the lcd screen would been bumped up to 460k at least :(

not having the built in flash is not a prob since the olden days of film there isn't built in flash, and the EVF comfirm is detachable,if it's not,how can one attach flash on the E-P2 if that is indeed the E-P2
