[Official thread] Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f2.8 PRO

I've emailed Olympus to include the mc-14 in the warranty drop down list. Hopefully they'll update the list asap. Happy shooting!

I called Olympus and their response is that the MC-14 Teleconverter is considered an accessory.

Does this mean there is no warranty for it?

But why does an accessory have a Serial Number?

Just love this lens for pet photography. I used to shoot with the 60mm f/2.8 Macro and 75mm f/1.8 but this is now my go-to lens for shooting my cats. The high ISO capability of the EM-1 is now so good that I can safely shoot at ISO 1600 without fear of too much noise.

Wow! maciam like low iso. the convenience of a power zoom. i really love it for travel photography. For use in sports hub, it also fulfil it's 200mm lens fully extended length criteria :)

Nice pictures of the cat. Just collected mine from MS Colour. Cant wait to go out n shoot some pictures!!!

I had so many systems past few years.. Not once I need to visit any of the manufacturers service centers.. Is it a risk worth taking? Hmm

It's personal :) We all have different appetites for risks. The 40-150/2.8 is a very well built and solid lens ; ask anyone who has handled it and will last U a long time if u don't abuse it.

But for me if its not at least 20-30% cheaper, I will go for the local set.

I think it'll survive with some abuse hahaha, no need to look after it like a baby
