Don't worry. ASPH world of Leica lenses is a safe place. All photos taken there will keep you smiling.

You don't need all the Leica lenses anyway. Just grab a Noct, and a couple of Summilux lenses.

Start with 50lux (most affordable but yet one of the nicest).

Then 35lux. Then you will find that it captures so much details that 35mm is not wide enough.

Then 21lux. Then you realised that sometimes you need 1 lens that can do even wider and more - like a DSLR wide zoom lens.

Then get a Tri-Elmar (WATE).

After exploring the wide, you realised that you have not been using 50lux for a while, but heard about the superb owl eyes of the 50 Noctilux.

And you saw one mint set in BNS. Buy it.

Now you are completed with all the ranges.

Then you start to think, chrome ones are even better with appreciation value for some, especially limited edition.

So here you go.... chrome and silver collection. Some come with "FREE" Hermes Bag. Not bad.

Dun dare to step into the ASPH world of Leica lenses... Haha... :bsmilie:

Hmmm. What makes you buy the A7 and not A7R at the first time?

Maybe can get my 2nd set... A7R via lobangkings or just wait for price drop in BnS or street stores...

I m noob... need to take on something not so overwhelming...

Seriously, I was actually thinking the A7 will take on the CV 15 better and other wide RF lenses better than the A7R... If I m gonna go with FE UWA next year... Y not consider an A7R but aint in a rush... Haha

Wah year-end full poison released...better siam

Deleted last post. Really too OOT!

BTW, you will also need to consider the more demanding sensor of A7R. Some of the manual lenses may not optimise the resolution.

If its FE and Zeiss or G lenses should be able to... I m pretty sure the MC Rokkor 58/1.2 can resolve the A7R... n the CV 35/1.7 U recommended me last time... also can... Haha.

Happy New Year to all!!! Wishing all BBB more cams and lenses in 2014! Huat Ah!!!

Not sure if Rokkor being a classic lens could resolve the A7R, though it is famous for its lowlight capability.

You might want to try out with a A7R tomorrow. The kit zoom of A7 cannot optimise the resolution of the A7R.

Just some thoughts, though image resolution is not the only factor of good IQ.

Happy New Year to All! Spend More, Earn More, and then Spend More again!
