Hello all,
I read some reviews that there is af issues(focused to background objects) in b both a7 and a7r.

You all encounter same issue?

hhaa no because i only have manual lenses :p so any focusing error is on the user side for me.

Just reading up on the Leica tri elmar lenses.

Will be cool if there will be such line up for rx2. I think if they come with tri focal length, they will fit a niche market compared to the current 35mm f2 which is losing ground to a7 due to less flexibility. (Cost as well, cam plus evf is damn high)

Haha just a wild thought

Hi all

Trying to fig out this "issue" i encountered last night.

Was walking around with my family are Vivocity link way to Sentosa - I would said lightning was dim but not dark. Using 35mm F2.8 - was I looking into the View finder I find that the feedback was out of sync and slow. I try to switch the resolution from high to normal and its still the same...wondering anyone here encounter the same "issue"?

Also is there anyway to lock the setting, there a few time when I took the camera out out my bag and discover the wheel was accident pressed and ISO set to 50!

Just saw 3-4 sets of the Sony semi hard LCD protector at Sim Lim. Think stocks are healthy now.

I am using Martin Fields which covers the whole screen perfectly and no gaps between the screen and the protector, which i prefer more. If you wish to get the semi hard now, grab one at Sim Lim Sony - $25 each.

Think they have 1 last set of the 35mm f2.8 FE as well. No stocks almost the whole Singapore for this superb lens, grab fast! Selling at RRP at $1,069.

The sony semi screen protector is available at sony bugis. I bought one yesterday.

You can lock the ISO wheel in the menu

Crap... I think that Sales guy I talked to was a clueless idiot then... He basically just looked at that shelf which had the F20M flash on the back and told me out of stock

Wow. If this is a perfectly aligned set, this is the best price ever for a 35mm Summilux FLE! Brand new is always out of stocks and retail price is more than $7k!

Good price. Buy!

Nothing new . . . once I asked one of the twits to unlock the display peg so I could buy a 67mm lens cap (there were several on the peg), and he told me they had no stock.

Another time I asked if they had the FDA-EV1S in stock and the idiot went to check, then came back and proudly handed me an OVF.

The other day I went in looking for a strap with split O-rings and the smarta$$ told me to try 5th floor Orchard Ion (which is a carpark).

Worst was a couple of years ago when I went there and asked for a NEX-7 (most places had no stock at the time), and the salesman asked, "What kind of product is that, sir?"

Actually, no, the worst was when I went there hoping to test the Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 for NEX, and found that they had only a dummy lens! "It's the exact appearance, size and weight of the real thing, sir," said the salesperson. Hey, how it looks is all that matters if you don't give a $hit about IQ… ;p

The semi hard protector should be $19 and not $25
