did u try pressing the display button until the LCD shows only the shooting settings without liveview any more ? Its the DISP logo, which is the top button of the ring dial you use to change ISO

For HK, all are selling at HK11990 for A7 and HK16990 for A7R. The only difference is in the freebies. Wing Shing gave me free 32MB SD, original charger and additional battery valued at HK620.

32MB SD is very stingy. But at least you can test the camera with it.

I assigned it to one button it will focus on eye but when I half press shutter it go back to the area the spot af box was at.

Hi Bros

Wanted some advice from you guys.

I had a Nikon D800E and from personal experience, I realised I had to set minimum shutter speed of 3 x focal length in order to get sharp image, at whatever the aperture. And I find it really hard and frustrating to use at times.

I wonder if this is the same experience with the a7r, since it has the same 36 mpx as D800E.

I really could not figure out why despite correcting all the techniques and stabilisation mechanics. I could only get sharp image on a tripod.

So I have thinking of getting the a7r because I rationalise that the light body plus the lack of mirror flap will negate the problem above.

Your thoughts?
