I see some of you talking about buying the camera at the Airport, does it mean CP or MS have no stock? Or simply cheaper at the airport?
Do the shops at the airport have 0% instalment plans?

See the symbol next to 3:2? Thats the tracking AF mode. Press Fn to activate your selection into the menu, and go to that to turn it on. to use it, press the C3 button ( which is the dustbin/delete button) to activate

Or u could set it to be activated by half shutter press. Which is what I do.. Save the trouble of pressing another button.

I am referring to the screen in the picture above. There us a tracking focus symbol where you can activate .you need to turn it on first

Focus area: centre ---> this is why it stays on centre. Because u asked the camera to stay at centre. If u wan it to move, switch to multi or object tracking.

I'm using leather neck strap for my A7r only thing I hate is the shutter button is place where the sling gets into the way so what I do is place the sling between my pointy finger and middle finger... a bit awkward if it start to annoy me I may opt for wrist strap hehehe..

you really love to poison your poor friends eh.... *sob* anyways I have pre-order my Gariz half case maybe with wrist strap if the price is right... I have a nice soft leather neck strap I bought from UK ;-) I still have one pair its cheap and really good quality

But I don't know if you notice any neck strap will surely get in your way when your try to take a shot I don't have this issue with NEX 7 as the shutter is more to the front of the body than the A7/r

No issue for me as the hand strap is using very soft leather. Actually helps me to position my grip better with the soft leather in between my palm and the camera body. I am looking forward to my gariz case this week too.

Wrong kit for you if you expected something like that, this isn't a compact camera. The FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 has only a max. magnification of 0.19x, you can't shoot macros with that. If you want macro you need to buy a macro lens (or at least a lens with a higher magnification between 0.5x and 1.0x). It has nothing to do with the camera body.
