That doesn't prevent Sony SG from putting an A7 and an A7r on display at Wisma or to announce the pricing more than a few hours before the products hit local shelves.
A7 price is good, though the kit lens seems a bit overpriced. A7R seems to be a bit excessive considering production cost shouldn't be that much higher. Anyway, still reasonable prices.Prices are out.... Yeahhhh
A7R(body) S$2799
A7(body) S$1999
A7(with FE 28-70mm lens) S$2399
RX10 (with 24-200mm f/2.8 lens) S$1599.

More poisons to share... latest thread below seems to show no visible magenta cast when using UWA like CV15 on the A7... Sweet...

So will A7 cannibalise the Nex sales & the RX1 sales? I think so. But that is progress. Sony is a company that dares to do this.

Really?Sony has got money to throw..... Lots and lots of it.....
I wonder within the next 6 months, will we see a series of Ff mirrorless cams from the major makers.
Sony probably push them to release these designs earlier. If not they will continue to milk consumer with evolutionary updates then revolutionary ones.
Huat ah. Hope Sony get some head start but daring to push the envelop ahead.
They aren't. Samsung, Fuji and Canon also have mirror-less APS-C systems (OK, Canon is actually APS size). The m43 camp (oly and pana) won't - if they didnt do aps-c why would they do ff? Canonikon wont as they need to protect their dslr. So Sony will be the only mirrorless ff for at least the near future - just as they were - and still are - the only mirrorless aps-c.
