Just wondering do you guys think the kit lens bundled with a7 is worth picking or or skip that and get the 35mm prime while waiting for the f4 lens?
True also. Heard sigma had great results with their primes. But still need at least a lens haha if not the body really is an expensive paper weight hahahOr wait for Sigma to launch their lenses for Sony. They have the best 35mm F1.4 ART series for the canon and nikon that out resolves the 36mp of the D800E. I guess it should be easy for them to take the same lens formula to create a 35mm f1.4 prime for A7R. Sure a cash cow for Sigma....
They might just glue the adapter onto it and sell it as an FE lens like they did in the past.Or wait for Sigma to launch their lenses for Sony. A7 is made in Thailand. So should be cheaper to buy in Thailand?
Sawadeekup.....planning for holiday in Thailand in December then![]()
Got like that one.... then ask them next time make in SIN or Malaysia.... ;p
I have time as I am very happy with my 5N and my range of very in-expensive Nikon ais lenses. So I will wait to see which one will render n suit me better, the A7 or
7r. Has been waiting for this cam for 2.5 years, so plenty of time to choose and test. I nearly went the OMD EM-1 way because it's such an attractive little dynamite.
Maybe can organize CS outing to Thailand.. Haha all hoot A7 or A7r together
I am thinking of A7 but the ability of the A7r to zoom in to details is very impressive. The downside is the lens should be able to resolve the resolution. Unfortunately I have opted to keep lenses that serve my needs rather than the best resolving ones. If I am going the A7r route, I will most likely move to native Zeiss and that will be too much of a waiting game and hassle to rebuild the setup.
