Not at all. Just look at their roadmap. It goes till the end of 2015 and I can't see any fast short primes on it. So I'm guessing they might release one after it.

Seems like similar issue as the Nex 7...

HKLFC member tested d A7 wif d CV12 n confirmed no purple cast in their thread.

I'm beginning to swing towards A7. A7R seemed not such a good buy after all.

A7r mostly for landscape, portrait etc while A7, all rounder. Hopes A99 replacement would be better.

But with mirorless FF..... most of us prob wont go back to big chunky DSLR..... then again..... I need to talk to A7 and see if it talk back..... I try to like the Nex.... keep on trying at Sony Centre.... but they just dont talk to me.... hmmm....

Depends on whether there will be a fast 300mm or 400mm prime for the e-mount. There's no way to match the A99's performance now in native mount lens capabilities.
