Going to as need the LA-EA4 and Grip from PWP. Battery also got PWP, see how they many they can give me at that rate. Btw, the WC ticket, quite a waste as I working that day and I not so WC fan. haha!

A7R = $2799. After discount, $2549. $2450 final? :think:

Sorry I not so sure whether this is correct thread to post? Bros, ever try on A7 wi-fi to computer? I went to NEX Sony on 15th of May, they tried for almost 4hrs. Still can't used on wi-fi. Bros any of you guys used this feature? Please advised.

U mean wifi transfer image to computer ?
If u don't want to meddle into the folders n stuff, perhaps u need to go thru play memories app... since win 8 is Tablet/pc apps, maybe Sony already has a win app play memories. . Conceptually speaking. Hope it helps.

Saw this in Sony website. I dont get it. Are there two 55mm F1.8 lenses
One is showing as $669 and one at $1349... Both look the same to me

Mistake la. That S$669 is for SEL2870.
But you can go down point them u want that lens lor. Then pay S$669.

Looks like a misprint and should be 28-70mm F3.5-5.6. Not sure if you can take this to the sales person and ask them to honor the price.
If successful, I'll be there in 10 minutes!

At first, I was thinking of A6000 with a zoom len for traveling, however, currently A7 with $200 rebate, I was thinking to try out a full frame camera with 2870 kit len, for traveling (but sacrifice on the longer zoom area) getting the full frame advantage or should get a A7 with SEL18200LE len, I think will end up with a cropped picture. Any advice welcome.

Depend on what you need, if you need fast focusing then A6000 your choice

Go to Sony Style store n try the A7/R with the FE 70-200/4 lens. U can the tele zoom capability plus the full frame advantage...
Using the a7 with the 18200, it detects the apsc emount lens and switches to Apsc mode and u get a full res 10.3mp Image with no vignetting. With 18200 in apsc mode ( 1.5x crop factor applies ) u get a focal length of 24-300. You can stay in ff mode and use the sel18200 but the photos will have really heavy vignetting. Or you can use a lens made for full frame, turn on apsc mode and u get the crop factor 1.5x if u need more reach like what this guy here did with his leica 50mm summilux. http://www.leica-boss.com/2014/01/sonys-crop-mode-saved-me-2800-00/
On the a7r its 15mp in Apsc mode [36mp in ff] its still acceptable imo.

I personally think the a7 on 10.3mp apsc mode is alright for photos on social media sites or blogs...but i wouldn't advise u to buy the sel18200 just for this purpose, buy a ff camera to utilize its full frame advantages..if u already have the lens sure why not use it..if not its better to just get a ff lens and get all of the 24.3mp goodness on ur a7.
