Nice shots.. i saw your flickr photos too. Is guess its wrong to ask where you do your spotting, but do you stay near PLAB?

Hi Turboredbean,

Thanks ! Actually I spot at all places whenever I end up at for the day with too much time on my hand. I am actually stay quite far away from PLAB.

Nice shot. Actually the pilot's name is on the left side so you can't see it no matter how close from the right. :) The Crew Chief's name is on the right side.

nice shots gilcrest, close enough to see the pilot's name ah !!

I just checked Sg airshow 2012 website, they put B787, F-22, F-35, A380 on the homepage.
I'm wondering are these aircraft really coming?
Their static display list don't have the aircraft mentioned above though.

If they don't come, Singapore Airshow can close shop till 2014. :bsmilie:

yeah man, i won't bother to find trade day ticket if they won't be here.
Perhaps Senior airline executives might be more interested in an indigenous Shanghainese designed narrow-body passenger airliner soon to be proudly manufactured in the People's Republic of China (PRC) rather than the star attractions of the week long event. I do wonder just how much of their Comac C919 program is directly influenced by massive amount of knowledge absorbed in running the Airbus Tianjin assembly plant.

Ask your towkay for trade pass lah. :bsmilie:

get from towkay? i don't think they will give to those who wanna go there just for fun instead of working at the booth lol

Caught this CASA CN235-200M on the way to work .

Nice catch, bro erkuan. Other than the C130, this is my fav transport plane.

Hi would like to ask, during Singapore Airshow 2012, which part will be best for shooting? The Changi Jetty (the one after SAF jetty), or near 20L/02R area, or Ubin Chek Jawa is a good spot also? Thx

grrrrr...they still haven't update the static display aircraft list. No B787, No F-22...zzz

B787 (Zulu Alpha 003) will be here. The futuristic "glass flight deck" would be particularly interesting to see first hand with all the 5x 15.1" diagonal Sharp LCD panels functioning as the PFD, MFD (CDU, COMM, INFO, ND, SYS, etc. etc.) and EICAS display in addition to the Class 3 dual EFBs and the CAT I/II ILS certified HUDs.

Also looking forward to learning more about Boeing's Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) open architecture principles known as the Common Core System (CCS) from the Boeing flight test engineers if possible, got a couple of questions that I would like to ask in person.

Aerobatic flying displays practices and combine rehearses schedules are as follows.
