Yes, those Full HD Videos were taken using D3100 plus this following lenses:
- AFS DX 35mm f/1.8
- AFS DX 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G
- AFS DX 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G
- AFS DX Micro 85mm f/3.5G VR
- AFS DX Fisheye 10.5mm f/2.8G
- AFS DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
A must have lenses for your holiday
Did you guys ooogle at the DSLR video rig at CP?? They were using D5000 on one of the setup if i'm not wrong... Those looked pretty pro! Made-in-the-US-of-A... Can't remember the brand... had a proper Mike jacked into the DSLR socket on the sides...
you can check here then tell us.
I think it is this brand:

Looks nothing if you see them separately..but get the whole shebang together... phew... your DSLR is transformed into a serious monster video equipment...

thinking to be a DSLR videographer?
last time only have in cam cropping. now ViewNX2 is more capable to edit your videos!![]()
Now can auto focus during filming. the D300s dun have. :bsmilie:
Correct. D300s is actually the same with D300 with additional to capture movie only, but the movie quality hasn't in Full HD and still need to manual focus.
D3100 is a no brainer
Please don't tempt me... I used to edit videos using Adobe Premier in the old days... oh those transitions... add sound effects... ;p It's getting back to me again....
Like I said... what's on CP's website are all separated pieces.... go there and have a look... it's at the right side of the window display... Major poisoning...
just get what you really need. get out shoot and enjoy watching the memories of those photos. surf less CS to avoid more BBB!
WARNING! more BBB poison here
should be no longer "motion jpeg" codec for the D3100 video
H.264 AVCHD Codec (.mov file)!! similar to Canon 550D.

Of those many, I only have 10-24mm... sorry I can't shoot a full length Nikon holiday commercial... :bsmilie:
Correct !
It is in *.MOV format, Full HD Video, maximum 30 fps.
30fps only for 720p though, not 1080p.
