Let's take a step backwards , what is it about the A7II that you find lacking and which the X-T2 may address ?

X-T2 will sport of course the updated X Processor and X-Trans III found in X-Pro2 and more.

Anyway, stay tuned for the announcement (it's silly , to wait for an official announcement when the world knows about the camera already). There's 2 phases as we always know - official announcement then followed by global sales date.
so you got news that some announcement coming soon ?

Probaby the weight lol .. And maybe the handling

Weight wise the A7 lens setup will most likely be heavy , can't run from physics lol but do note that Fuji isn't all that way lighter.

I had the A7 way back and I used it with the FE35 and FE55, which was pretty light, I was turned off by the handling and colors and could never get used to having to pay for apps to 'upgrade' my sony camera.

XT2 will be announcing soon , maybe then u can sit back and do a good old comparison. For now , maybe u can join Facebook groups like Fujifilm ClubX so u have an idea of how shooting Fujifilm is.

I heard that from TK as well.... but Keith says cheaper right ... so it has to be cheaper.

Yes agreed, if Keith says it is cheaper, then it has to be cheaper ! :bsmilie:

If not cheaper he will make it cheaper :)

Omg lol.

To my knowledge X-Pro2 will still be at a higher price than X-T2 if we compare body vs body , and there's a good reason for it being that the hybrid VF is one thing unique to Fujifilm and expensive to produce.

Instead of the hybrid OVF/EVF, we all know one thing great about X-T1 is its huge EVF.

And I've seen the X-T2's EVF. It's mad , it's really very very mad, probably enough reason by itself for u to buy the camera.

Better then SL ??? OMG ! I want !

lol , but the SL is a red dot ! and at that price a must buy cause it becomes a heirloom!

Side discussion, correct me if I am wrong .... The thing about these OVF is that there is no optical magnification for longer focal length .. if you want magnification you need to go evf or partial evf.
How I wish there is inbuild optical magnification for more common framelines.

Sorry I need to rephrase the question: should I go for A7II or wait for X-T2. Anyway I am asking for someone.
