download the latest adobe DNG converter and convert your raw files to the more flexible .dng.... that's my workflow for my 6D now.. cuz my macbook pro OS can't support CS6, so that's not an option. i run on CS5 too

Yup! Got this info online too. Thanks! Howver, I do notice a drop in file size when I convert to .dng, does it mean quality or the raw file is compromised?

Apparently there are some fabulous free gifts now when u purchase the 6D. A dry cabinet and lightroom4 or smth like that?

Possibly. But you might be better off taking the gifts n selling them away on bns.

I was at TK Foto just now and they are still selling 5D2. What surprised me was that the selling price is $28xx!! Who will buy it when the 6D is $25xx?

The 5D2 is still a current product, isn't it? But it's much cheaper in Japan.

yup.. for me different case, cuz i have to carry 2 cameras during event shoot and sometimes i can't avoid bumps when i move around tight areas/crowds etc.

lol, a 6D isn't going to crack when you bump it against something. The 5D2 is just made of aluminum casting and can crack easier than you think, it's not steel. Heavier doesn't mean more robust but at least it gives you the illusion.

Just got my 6D Kit II from Cathay Photo this afternoon. free 32BG SD card from CP and also register online to get extra freebee from Canon.
Too bad it's pouring outside right not, so cannot get out, can't wait to try it out.

One thing you can try out at home is to boost the ISO and see how the 6D is capable of reducing noise.

the free gifts from canon is part of the IT show promo. they are not from the retailers. they are provided by canon, which means you have to go to CSC @ keppel towers to collect. so even if you don't want, i doubt the shops will do a discount for you.

as for 5d2... apparently it is still current in SG.

What is it now, $3550 or $3570? Anyway, both are damn cheap if you mean the new 24-70/4 kit. Pretty unlikely if they sell the old kit for $3750...

Just collected my 6D with 24-105mm yesterday from Tecno for $3118.Delivery was slighty longer than what they promise(4-5)day.It took about 8-9 days.But I'm happy cause the price is cheaper.

My order was about 2 week ago.They have promotion weekly.The cheapest offer was before Chinese NY that was $3080 if I'm not mistaken.

Wow! That's really cheap! About $400 cheaper than what I got from Cathay! Is it a grey set or under canon warranty??
