14: Customization to replace depth-of-field preview button with "leveling gauge". Simple but helpful with just a press & release of the button.
15: Requiring the wifi to turn between Off and On to take video are rather troublesome.
16: Light weight is really friendly on the neck and should after carrying around for a full day.
17: Smaller camera size fit nicely with extra rooms in my existing vanguard up rise camera bag.
18: Auto Focus method during live view works well for "Quick mode" & "Live mode". During Quick mode, all 11 points work like the same AF method as the viewfinder shooting. However, it will be "black out" (interrupted momentarily) during AF.
19: Image playback on iPad work well through wifi without having to physically transfer file onto iPad is useful during shooting.
20: Switching between full auto focus points and single center focus point by pressing only one button (set button) is useful and convenient.
21: Did not find any prominent indication on lcd screen when auto focus is achieved when shooting video with live view. In addition, when subject is to near and unable to focus by a particular lens, it did not prompt user (not sure did I miss any settings). Only discover that the subject is not in focused when viewed under big screen on PC.
22: Silent mode can be easily switched by pressing/cycling through the "drive mode" . In my opinion, it's really silent, only slightly louder than the average mobile phone keypad pressing.

And some more....

First observation with EOS 6D coupled with 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM:

Quicker and accurate focusing, even good for the rest of the focus points, quality of the image is exceptional good as usual, felt not rigid/unsafe coupled with this huge lens lugging around (could be still quite babied with the 6D), unbalanced feeling as the CG seem to have shifted further away from 6D's body...

Sounds like a great combination. Do share some photos with this lens.

Under custom function: AF point direct selection.

Setting that cfn, you can use the 8way pad after pressing the shutter half way.

Unfortunately, it does not allow for selecting center/all using the set button, to be able to do that, you still need the af point selection button.

Is this true?

There's a already default function on that Set button. IIRC, go to the camera's custom function settings to clear this, and then you can use that Set button to choose center AF point.

This is based on my experience using it on my 60D ( not 6D yet :) )

FYI you can also enable the 8 way pad after pressing the.. err.. I think AE lock or something, just in the case you don't want to activate your lens' IS by pressing the shutter halfway.

24-70 f4 expected to be here in february :)

Canon's delivery date keeps slipping. Not a good sign. Seems like they are still having problems with the new lens plant in Taiwan. Sigh...

They now shifted their L glasses plant out of Utsunomiya, Japan to Taiwan?

Well it certainly looks bad, but let's hope that at least the product will be good. At least so far, the delayed products seemed to be good and QC is ok. :)
