malaysia is selling body at RM 6100, any idea on the warranty in sg? limited or no warranty at all?

if based on current bloomberg rates, SGDMYR, 2.49 , = SGD $2450 ...is that cheaper than what local shops selling?

i dun mind go JB wack, (if the service centre is in JB) ... beats going to HK, ...least if anything happens, worse case, go JB fix ....
then go HK rite?

add in petrol cost, your precious time in singapore busy fast pace life, risk of getting robbed at JB. i think not worth, and waiting time (sometimes days). our shop here sells abt 2600+. wait a while, may drop.

unless u found shops at JB sell 2300-2400$, BUY

Looks like the 6D noise control is very tight and will not allow any traces of noise to rise to unacceptable levels.

Done in JPEG?

Not sure but highly likely that NR is applied. Without knowing, can't really make a fair comparison. But if just want to comment on the images itself, 6D is the worst of the 3. There's no point in the photo looking "overall clean" but the details are all lost and mushy. Look at the font A6 itself - 6D is starting to take a hit at ISO3200 and become very obvious at ISO6400. At ISO12800 the font is totally blur for 6D.

On the other hand, the D600 had the most noise but maintains the highest amount of detail. The 5D3 also did a great job with balancing detail and noise overall.

the 6D and 5D3 RAW performance are very very close. seen on FM forum, dpreview already.

Just had a short test with the 6D earlier. Really feels and handles like a full-frame 60D and looks like a 5D II mini!

Its feels light! Silent shutter's about the same as my 5D3, which is great for stealthy shots! I didn't really notice any AF issues in shop lighting, so that's good! Good thing the buttons are not as stiff and mushy like the 60D, but still not as nice as other DSLRs I've used.

All in all, a very decent no-frills FF camera. Straight forward and simple to use like the 60D. Great for any only center AF point loving folks. Better than the 5D2 imo.

Would I pick the 6D if I wanted a budget FF? Sadly no. I'd rather go for the D600, but that's just me.

Is it just me who finds the test favouring Canon in the entire ISO range? Valid test? The pictures from D600 look terribly noisy.

At the same time, terrible loss of details for the 6D.

Without knowing if it was done in JPEG the test doesn't say anything.

Oh yeah, terrible. lol

This website is .......
It's a copy (they don't give the source!) of a French website who did the test before... it is in JPG. So buls***
