Yup the 60D guide.

In the EOS 60D User's Guide, lots of photos taken using the EF-S 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM in Paris, does it means it's high recommended for 60D?

15-85 is a very very good lens, especially when doing big prints, it's super sharp, even in the corners too !

highly recommended for a general range lens =v=b

roughly how much does a 15-85 cost?

What kind of cards you want? Standard class 6 or class 10 or those with high speed transfers for performance?

hmm i want to get a battery grip for my 60D does canon have one already for it? or is there any recommended 3rd party bg?

Am also looking for one. Have asked quotes from MS Color and TK Foto. FYI, I am talking about original grips.

BG-E9 for 60D
MS Color and TK Foto sells at $190. :)

3rd party ard $120 I think.

60D recording HD video will hit the 4GB limit in about 12 minutes. You will need at least a class 6 to do that.

SanDisk Ultra SDHC Class 4 are exception, which transfer at 15MB/s.

It should be around $40 for sandisk SDHC Extreme class 6 8GB. I bought my class 10 Sandisk Extreme 16GB at $78 from SLR Revo, just a guide for you.

Thanks! I got the Sony Class 10 16GB from MS AMK Hub. When I first playback the video on my lappy, it was very distorted! Green patches here and there. I thought I got a lemon card or a lemon 60D. However it was my video player that played me out! Upgraded the VLC and all was sparky clear and crisp! I like the zooming audio feature! Very accurate as I tested with a dog barking across the road.

Sony SDHC 16GB Class 10 : $77
Sony SDHC 8GB Class 10 : $44

hi everyone, been playing around with my 18-135 kit lenses and faced a bit of an issue when taking close up shots due to the focal length, so i'm looking to get something to complement my lenses. probably to take casual gathering photos, food, as well as portrait shots.

any recommendations ma? some people recommended getting 50mm prime lens, which i saw were like $500+ for the f1.4
or should i get something else?

thanks in advance for any advice!

hi everyone, been taking shots with my 60D with the 18-135 kit lens and it has been great!!

though a bit let down by the inability to take shots at closer ranges due to the focal length of 45cm of food and some friends.

also.. the length of the 18-135 is a bit long. haha..

thus, i'm looking to get something that would allow me to take the closer range shots. some people have recommended the 50mm prime f1.4 around $500+ or get the f1.8 at around $100+

any suggestions on what i should be looking at? thanks in advance!

You need a macro lens for close up instead of bigger aperture. :)

any recommended lens to get? would appreciate some directions before i go down to the canon shop at vivo (my fav place now. haha) to test out what's available there

Hi everyone, I just got my canon 60D from one of the shops in funan. I love the camera, but did anyone else experience problems with the sd card slot spring? My sd card slot cannot be pressed in and it doesnt spring out at all, in the end, I have to pull out the sd card with my finger. I was wondering if I should take it back to Canon CSC? :( Cos I read online that some users also experience the same problem, but the spring became ok after 20 days of usage.
