Official Canon EOS 60D User Thread Part I

Heres my gear: Canon 60D, kit lens 18-200mm, 50mm f1.8, 24-105mm f4. nissin Di622 mark II, Canon crumpler neckstrap n Caselogic slingbag.

Have a 60D with battery grip, Canon 17-55mm F2.8, Sigma 50mm F1.4, Nissin Di622 Flash, Crumpler Industry Disgrace strap. Using Billingham 307 if I want to carry all. If not, normally a Billingham 107 if just the camera with or without extra lens/flash. Vanguard Uprise 48 if backpack is more convenient. Hope it helps. :)

Canon 60D | 24-105 f/4L | EF 50mm f/1.8 | Expodisc

As for bags, i only have 2, a Vanguard Sydney sling bag and a Kata Backpack because it holds camera & my macbook pro at the same time :)

Hi all,

I am today new 60D user!!! Nice to meet you all. Just bought my camera from JB, cheaper than singapore. RM3000 now. I also got a 35mm f2 there. However, going to get a 135mm f2L in singapore soon.
 

Hi，have anybody tried 3rd party battery grip, Hercules or equivalent on 60D ? any comments ?

i am using the hercules 60D BG + batt. trying to write a review on it, took a few photo few days back. post later or next few days when free.:)

Thanks all for the feedback. I found Meike BG-E9 with pretty +ve comments from amazon and from UK forum for 3rd party grip. Already placed an order, S$75 from China. Will feedback on the quality of build when receive.

Heard from Reddot photo will introduce a locally design/made (?) 60D grip for S$120 during march pc show. They will probably throw in free battery.
 

Hi people, which remote shutter cable do you guys normally use for the 60D? I understand that not all remote offered by Canon is compatible with the 60D. I am intending to get one soon.
