How about some photos of 2013 so far... taken with the 5D3 of course ...

Has anyone discovered any new techniques they'd like to share?
Has anyone bought any of the new lenses and paired it with the 5D3 recently? ie. Sigma 35 f/1.4, etc.

i am still waiting for that 35 f1.4's stock to be available....

Finally played with it for a while.. Shocked with the AF speed.. Compared to my previous d7000, it was amazing.. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy batteries.. Cannot play with flash.. Hahaha..

I am wondering if any of the 5D folks here purchased their cameras from ddelectronics, which are essentially grey sets with warranty covered by the shop itself. Price is now stated as $3,585.00, which is a $200 drop from last few months' price of @3700++.

Any reason not to take advantage of the savings? Any 'bad' experiences if any?

Appreciate if anyone can share...

Thanks for the info....but the indicated price is a good marker where the prices should stand. Any idea if prices have fallen by the same amount?

I didn't get a chance to call any of the stores yet, but will do so when the time comes.

I called CP earlier today and was quoted $4119 nett for the 5D III body. Still kinda high.

The SG price is totally outdated and overpriced.

Color, contrast, image quality, noise,etc. From online review and comparison, specs are very similar except AF points and wifi and GPS in 6D. Considering to buy either model. Need feedback.
