Local grey set with shop warranty is selling between $3500-3656 while our neighours are lower than that. HK's grey set is around $3200++ after conversion.

Singapore Canon's price is really over priced above $4000.

My friend did a check for me early this month, KL street price is around SGD4k for body.

I had some issue with nikon flash, fed up with it because even NSC cant solve it.
And I prefer canon's red tone.

I like canon lens design. Nikon ones, including Leica, with so many marking, make it look like is a museum item.... to me.

But canon lens feels plasticky and I don't mind.. It feels like "pelican" plastic; sturdy and durable.. Hahaha..
Now I'm confused whether to get 24-70 2.8 or 24-105 f4.

24-70 F2.8 is good.

I'm used to Canon. Maybe should try and see the different. As in holding it

If I were to only buy 1 lens, it will be 24 70 ll.

Finally decided to switch. ..sold Nikon d700 and bought 5D Mark III now..cant wait my battery be fully charged.hahahaha....siao liao

Okay lar bro... if you sell D700 and get 6D/D600, then it may not be much of an upgrade..... but 5DMKIII is a diff beast... am sure you will like it....

Good choice! I have noticed that many who have switched eventually return to their manufacturer of origin.
