But there will be "Grass Always Greener on the Other side Syndrome"..... get Canon 5DMKIII/6D think should have bought Nikon D800/D600 and vice versa..... haaaa

The 6D is capable of both movie and stills. In fact there are several samples of movies made by the 6D on the internet. Just Google for movies made by 6D.
Doodah is right. Buying one or the other cameras is highly personalized. Buy based on needs, not what you hear from the marketing juggernaut or what appears to be 'in fashion' at the moment.
Personally, I bought the 5D3 and I am a very satisfied user. However, if the 6D met my needs and I bought that one instead, I would be just as happy. I once went through 3 tripods before I settled on the one that met my needs. In that case I did not do my homework in advance nor had I thought about my specific needs (lightweight, travel, flexibility, etc). It's very important to spend some time to do some research aligned with the needs you've already established.
sorry, i know 6d can do photo and video but can 6d do video with wifi ???
so i dont need to buy external lcd anymore lolz....
6D cannot do wifi with video. When I change to video mode, it say wifi is disabled. Why they made like that?

Maybe Canon is saving this feature for 6D II haha.
I doubt it, mate. If the 5D3 can't do it, Canon would never allow the 6D to do it.for 5d3 user, can u test about spot metering. is it still metering on the center ?? or will follow your single af point ?? for example at the outer right and it will metering at that point (not in center). or still the same just metering at center point ?
sorry for bad english
thx![]()

6d can do it ?? but di you understand what i mean ? eerrr its hard to tell in english...
hhmmm.... i give one case.
u should test like at the center it white surface, but at the corner point u should get black / brown / grey color (more dark from white at the center).
get the spot metering setting.
1st, focus at the center (white surface) how is the exposure ? for example you get 1/60, f2.8, iso 800
2nd, focus at corner (using single point af drag it to the corner) and focus it. is it still get the same exposure ?
if same, then spot metering just work at the center point af. but if the exposure change, the spot metering is follow your single af (just like nikon)
cause i try 60d, 7d, 5d2 it metering at the center only. even i drag the af point to the corner.
hope you all understand what i mean.
