Crysmeth, u are right :) I believe your are much younger... by the time your turn 50.. Your will go for MF..haha

A lot of poison in CS..haha..never tot of even FF when I start shooting in 2009. I'm only using 500D, fd from CS or business partner always ask me..u use 5D2 ? and my reply is always..I'm using 5.... 00D and they are like ..oh... :)

Haha. I want to go mf sooner. Hehe. Maybe in the next 5 years. But hey its never the gear. Keep shooting bro...

Not sure about the duct tape but according to Cathay Photo, the batches that they sell does not have the light leakage issue. This means the stocks they got from Canon has already rectified the problem at factory level. As for price adjustment, Cathay Photo was caught off guard by the reversal in price from S$3,999 back to S$4,120. Not sure if the free 32GB is from Cathay or Canon but if it was collected on the spot, it might be a from Cathay Photo direct (at least that was how the sales folks in Cathay Photo are telling me).

Yeah of course they don't ship with the light leak. lol My concern is more how they fixed it. I guess they didn't do it properly otherwise they would be vocal about it.

Yeah, depending how you get your quote it varies between $4.1k and $4.15k but the 32GB SanDisk Extreme CF card is included. Well, it's not a state-of-the-art card but better than nothing.

Not sure whether the earlier discounted price of the 5dMKIII is linked to the PWP promotion by Canon Singapore. In PWP, the 100L and 70-200 can be bought at a cheaper price of about 200 less and the shop can pass this saving back to the buyer assuming the buyer is not taking the PWP promotion.

The previous price $3999 w/gst is without free gift.

The current price now is $4120 w/gst but comes with a free Sandisk Extreme 32GB CF.
 

What's the current high street price for the kit with the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM?

EDIT: OK, seems it goes for about $5.3. Looks to be a bit overprices compared to the body only, isn't it?
