Bro your charger don't have that sound? My too has the static sound, i thought it's like this, but no issue charging up my battery etc..

Try putting your battery on the charger and charge it, then go close to it and listen, should have i think.

Check with you guys, do you have problems hearing buzzing sound from your charger? Or is it me and another CS-er who owns 550D?

Saw your portfolio. The riding one. Wondering why did you capture those in black/ white? Because, capturing it in color would be better as you can change it to black/ white anytime while PP.

pardon me with the noob question. i using 18-55 kit lens.. i realize the image is crop. am i rite? so i have to go lower than 18mm?

What do you mean the picture is cropped? Does it mean you cannot capture everything within the viewfinder/ liveview?

yes , it's a third party grip for our 550D. I would go for the original Canon grip.. some say OEM grip have problem connecting issues.. where they slot 2 batteries but the camera can only detect one...

btw, few pages back i read about a good 3rd party battery. how much is it and where can i get it? 'cos i saw the official one is selling at $99.

Glenn, not yet lah.. maybe i will check the next time i charge.. but this type of problem should be okay.. as long as it does not affect the charging of the battery, else just leave it alone..

I'm not sure if the lens diameter is bigger, isit considered wide angle lens. But wide angle lens are normally <18mm..

Hi Glenn n Jerrold, i dun recalling hearing anything too. I feel it's more likely from the charger if u do experience that. But like j said, so long as it works ya.
