yeap i think so too, but it only includes one memory card and maybe camera bag. i'm not too sure. cause i didn't get mine from there. i bought it from my papa's friend!

but i think before buying should do some research beforehand

The previous IT-show deal is really decent since they throw in the Canon Crumpler bag and free X-mini speaker if extend warranty for another $110+.
Warranty extension is 24 + 3 months, so total warranty 12 + 3 + 24 + 3 = 42months, quite imba. (3.5 years)

It is X-mini speaker with canon badge, not look alike. I sold the tripod, crumpler away & pass 1 x 8GB to my friend. I prefer backpack.

Hi, i think if i am not wrong kit 1 @ $1180 is not inclusive of GST yet right. Cos I just brought my brother to buy from them Body only @ $1030 without GST so its about $1100 with GST. No tripod though, only give free dustpen. Since memory card and bag are free from canon.

Bro your charger don't have that sound? My too has the static sound, i thought it's like this, but no issue charging up my battery etc..

Try putting your battery on the charger and charge it, then go close to it and listen, should have i think.

I heard the sound le. But i have to press my ear right next to the charger to be able to hear the sound. I think it is okay ba.

The charger is running on AC - this sound can be due to the electronic frequencies.

Hi, i think if i am not wrong kit 1 @ $1180 is not inclusive of GST yet right. Cos I just brought my brother to buy from them Body only @ $1030 without GST so its about $1100 with GST. No tripod though, only give free dustpen. Since memory card and bag are free from canon.

eh i'm not too sure either.maybe not inclusive of gst. is there a pouch or protective bag that is smaller in size for our camera? so that i can put it into my bag and feel safe, without having to lug out the big canon bag.

Mass section have them for less than $20. A DSLR pouch so that u can put ur camera in your non-camera bag.

Yes you can.

Make sure the lenses can be used on your Canon though, e.g. Tamron has lenses made to fit Canon or Nikon - you need to get the right one. I'm not sure Nikon lenses can be used on Canon.

It can be use via an adaptor, but u will lose autofocus. Some Adapter comes with AF confirmation to aid better MF.

i wanted to do tat too. then i realised i need my tripod or flash. then might as well bring my camera bag already.

eh ya i always carry big bags around can stuff in more stuff.but tripod wise i think i'll leave it at home for the time being. besides how do u fit the tripod into the canon bag?

i got mine with the free crumpler bag. my tripod is a travel tripod. so i just clip it at the buckles.
