canon actually recommend class 6 and above for recording video on 550d.... the card they give free is only class4....:dunno:

you should try and post some results.

the PenDrive SD card class 4 i found at 25fps (1080p PAL) is okay.

yes get a class 6 and above is best.

Hi..

Is anybody using any CPL for the 18-55 kit lens? I notice that the focus ring will turn when u use AF. So do u have to adjust the CPL everytime after refocus?

Yes, don't bother to use CPL. I only use CPL on my compact.

i bought 2 screen protectors online...received it and attempted to fit it myself. in the end both screwed up. dust always gets between the screen and the protector...damn it. i was so frustrated. anyone knows where in the world sells the screen protector and yet fit it for u?

probably i was lucky enough to be able to apply the 1-dollar-from-ebay screen protector in only 1 try. (learned my lesson from a lot of wasted iphone screen protectors haha!)

Resize means shrinking ur image to smaller size. E.g. From L's 18MP to M's 8MP from ur 550D etc.

Yeah i understand. If i wanna shrink from 18M.P. to 12M.P., i shrink smaller. But do I have to shrink it to the exact same size of a 12M.P picture?

Any size of ur preference. Check what is the minimum of the photostock requirements first. Anyway, don't push urself too hard about pictures not being accepted. So long u like it, ur family members/known ones appreciately, ur job is done.

18-135mm Kit seems not so cool. I m using it. as bought the Kit II. Doesn't have the blur effect background. But of cause compared with 18-55mm even sad limited. So I said its quite okay for newbie like me to play around.

How much is 17-55mm? Sorry, newbie to Canon. " L" is it fit for 550D?

yup, all EF lenses can fit on cropped camera. so the L can fit onto your 550D...
