Hi,

Wondering what bag u guys use for ur camera? The original EOS bag or other bag? Any good place to recommend to buy a bag? 550D user also..

I prefer sling bag.. Only one 550D + one extra lens. Any recommendation?

Is there course still available if i bought my Canon Camera a week back? Would really be interested to learn more about this camera!

ya, you can register in Canon website(http://digitallab.canon.com.sg/complimentary.html), I just attended two weeks ago, I find it very usefull and interesting, you will be able to understand the concept easier(compare to reading the manual...

using EOS bag sufficient for current usage, store items of my signature.
still got space for additional 1-2 lens.

i'm using the free crumpler bag from the IT show. works fine for every day shooting.

but i also bought a vanguard 45(?) backpack. it can carry the slr, at least two extra lenses, an external flash, a tripod, some misc stuff and upto a 15" laptop. nice design i must say, tho, i haven't really used it yet because it's big. i plan to use it in airplane cabins.

For those worried about 3rd party battery, there's nothing to worry about.

I had bring 1 orig, 1 3rd party to Korea recently. Temperature range from 3-15 C. The 3rd party battery does not lose out to the orig batt.

Hi, may i know what is the brand of the 3rd party battery that you got? I was reading through this thread and read some horror stories regarding 3rd party batteries. So if you've found a reliable brand, it'd us help a lot. :]

get 2nd hand lenses if you want it cheap.. i think you still get the freebies with body only

The body price sounds good. as for lens wise, the 18-200mm is about $800 2nd hand anyway so it wont be too much of a difference ya.

hi guys, chk with u all if theres any difference between a 3rd BG and an original one? heard that the 3rd BG might not be able to provide info on battery life or somewhere i read was saying BG actually halves battery life. care to enlighten pls?
