Bought a Canon 550D as my first DSLR as well.

Bought it at $1340, not sure if it's a good deal though.

Kit I - EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 comes with

• UV Filter
• Canon Bag
• PenDrive 8GB SDHC Card
• 1 year warranty

take note the warranty is singapore warranty and not international.. my friend said Indonesia shop doesnt want to service those singapore / other country DSLR.. or even they want, it will be expensive

Check with you guys. Am a very new member and gotten 550D as my first DSLR. Been reading up alot these days trying to learn more and practice on my SLR as long as i find time.

I've tried taking a HD video and would like to know that if it's normal to be a blur when the object is not close to you and when zooming it gets really blur. Am using the kit lens (EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6)

Any advice on how to take video and zoom without blurring? Is there any settings i miss out on?

From a friend's shop. Cannot exactly remember shop name though, but it's somewhere in lucky plaza. Is it expensive or is it a good deal?

no need waranty i think, use 1d mkII for years and never break down, also my 450D still strong... but in case something go bad, i go to singapore frequently...

My 350D refuse to break down yet.. now become backup body, but everyday I kept molesting my 550D.

try using AI servo for focus?

what setting u used? shutter not quick enough to still little boy on bicycle.
