What f stop are you using?
I have this issue also. Mine is the sensor gana dust. At high f stop, it appears.
I think we have the same issue as you. I am using f/22. However, when I was shooting at other apertures with the same lens, this image doesn't show up.

now i don dare to anyhow change lens, as i havent go to CP to buy the cleaning kit... staying with 18-135mm for the time being

How much did CSC charged you for the cleaning?
Do you need to make an appointment if you want CSC to clean your camera or walk-in is enough?
Are you able bring back the camera with you or do you need to leave your camera there then wait for their call for collection?
Thanks...

Hi..

Anyone here with experience of using the 550d at temperature lower than 0 degree Celsius? Like -15 to - 20 degree Celsius.

I have checked the canon official web and it says the working temperature is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.

So I was wondering If there is any cover we can use to keep the 550d in working condition or it works without any protection.

Thanks.

guys can i ask where can get big balls of silicon gel and can be keep on using it again and again. thanks.

guys can i ask how do your use dry cabinet? what should you do for the first time using dry cabinet? what should i set for the humid level? how often should i need to take out everything from my dry cabinet and air it for how long? thanks.

Hi Guys!

Has anyone tried to use a Canon EP-EX15II Eyepiece Extender?
Any feedback?

Thanks...

I don't really like the magnification of the viewfinder being reduced..
But it keeps my oily nose off the LCD screen..
That's why I removed the 'lens' elements from the extender so I'm basically left with a hollow tunnel..
Traps dust.. but i find it helps me block stray lights..

btw, mine's a third party copy of the canon's...

I saw a third party on AP sim lim. I think the brand is JJC. A eyepiece with magnifier. Probably, i will buy that one to reduce the oil on my LCD as my nose is too oily. :-)

How much you did you bought that eyepiece extender? On AP is $30.

Thanks.

I think mine's also JJC brand.. can't really recall..
definitely less than $30.. IIRC, its $15.. from artworkfoto..
Think u can check from their website..
The magnification is 0.70X or something like tat.. so it makes your viewfinder appear smaller..

Stow them in the lockers located outside those rides where carry-on baggage is prohibited.

It is even more cheaper to carry a piece of tissue paper

oic. thanks for your wonderful helps. by the way, should i cover up my lens and body with the caps provided and put them into the dry cabinet or should i just put my lens and body without the caps? thanks.
