Depends on you.I got a Benro A300EX aluminium tripod for $158.Though its long when kept, its light:thumbsup:

I see, then what kind of requirement should the tripod be in order to hold the camera? I guess I shall go mass sale and have a look out :)

A few factors...

Height
Weight
Stability
Price

Yeah...do go to mass sales and have a look:)

Bro, if you care about weight, get the T1204, which is much lighter. I got myself a T2204 cos I don't mind the additional add on weight, and in fact the legs are thicker which is more stable. The value added features for the T2204 is that it has retractable spikes at the bottom of the legs whilst the T1204 doesn't.

Do consider on your purchase, whether you want light or stable.

The Canon flash is definite better in terms of it's sync and ttl, but still, it's Di622 still can't take on the 430ex. Partly it's the sync, ttl, and the LCD screen. Sad to say, I'm using a Di622, cos I don't use flash often, except for events etc. And it's much more cheaper.

One main problem is that the Di622 doesn't have it's firmware that can support wireless off camera flash triggers. So, I might be getting an additional Di866 flash which is $370, last checked at Alan Photo.

Here's his recommendation

Thanks you guys for the advise! I guess I will get kit2, and lets say I left with $80, how much more will I need to top in to get a decent tripod?

Personally, I'm using the Benro A300EX @ 150 (from MS color when I bought my kit so got disc). Decent enough for your usage, but i will - in the future - like say 2 to 3 yrs time, upgrade!

Depends on which tripod you get.Fotopro/Fancier and Benro are within your budget:)

As he said :)

Weight...i already stated down...

Ok thank guys, shall do research during these few months before I get it at end of year. Hopefully the price will drop ^^

The tripod will have stats the. the A300EX can hold up to 4 KG IIRC

Minus the weight of the ball-head should be about 3.5kg.But your camera will be only max 1.5kg lor...so don't need to worry:)

I don't think the price will drop...unless a new model comes out:)

I still probably need an SMS subscription LOL!

yesterday went for bike track day... took a few photo with 55-250. 1st time i am using the lens and it heavy feel to me.. I love the zoom up close look but it is quite hard to take photos when u r at a near distance because it is a zoom lens... I took it under a hot sun at the track.. maybe is my skill not that good.. the color doesnt stand out that much even i swtich to daylight WB. I wouldnt say will might consider to but my 55-250 lens (wat i use was my fren's lens) but it wouldnt be 1st lens that i consider cause i prefer taking portirts and landscape...
