i'm using fotga brand glass protector. you can search in ebay, posted from hong kong.

I believe it shouldn't be a problem. Cause like other stuffs like motherboard, mobile devices also upgrade to latest firmware no matter what version the current the firmware is.

To confirm this, it states The Version 1.0.8 firmware is for camera with firmware up to Version 1.0.7. So no worries loh

I believe if we are not suppose to upgrade, it should stop us. Anyway it can be link from Canon Singapore Website so should be quite safe..

Must have warranty still? If not, how much would it cost for calibration? any idea?

I had check with Sigma Singapore. Must have warranty for free calibration. If not calibration cost S$80.

What custom settings are you all using? i would like the colour to be more vibrant and the shots to be sharp any recommendations ?
