Yep shooting stills alone wunt use up ur fully charged batt, but using live view and/or shooting video probably might

Yes, shooting in live view will use up a battery in under 2 hours.

wow 2 hours that short?? seldom shoot with live view but that's a good number to keep in mind. seems like i need a few more extra batts if i wanna do video

1st part i dunno how to explain to you...but 55-250 is for longer reach(E.g At the Zoo where you need to take the white tiger)

3rd party(Tamron/Sigma/Tokina)look for Canon mount can already...

starting i thought the problem is on my eye but i really cant stand it then i ask my sister to try it out. She also think the same. Well i hope i did adject it back already as now it is abit better than before

So it works now?

55 means how wide you can go, 250mm how far you can zoom.

like what cleonbus stated, get canon mount will do. ;)

it has to do with calculations abt focal length etc. to make it simple, 55mm means how wide the photo will be. eg 18mm is wider than 55mm (try ur kit lens to understand this) so if 55mm is "zoom" then 250mm is "superzoom". if u are upgrading frm a compact cam, compact cam list the zoom as 3x 4x 3.8x 5x 17x zoom etc. take 55 ÷ 18 = 3x zoom so 250 ÷ 55 = 5x zoom

You don't count 2/3/4/5x zoom in DSLR terms:)

LOL.

then if u have a 10-22mm. from ur 18-55. its like 0.55x counter-zoom. LOl.

The precise definition is the distance between the 2nd principal point (or rear nodal point) of the optical system to the image plane. Of course, in layman's terms those numbers just represent the field of view of the lens - about 23 degrees (horizontal) at 55mm to 5 degrees at 250mm.

What you call it in DSLR term? Pardon my noobness :embrass:

I don't quite get you. What you mean by counter-zoom?

lol. counter zoom as in cos its negative what. u X 0.something is smaller what. so not zoom. is counter zoom. its a joke bro.

oh... that is a clear understanding. Now i know 55 meaning wide 250 meaning zoom
so our basic kit are 18wide 55 zoom can i say that?

well it is abit better now, much more clearer :)
