yes, I read some review said Canon and Nikon main business is their LENS not their camera body.. so now thinking to get 2nd hand 70-200mm f2.8 IS.. the IS II is too expensive.. still lurking in BnS too see any good deal or not.. if buy new one, SLR and MS Color will be the cheapest in town.. (yet to check)

icic so you'll be considering to get the mark I? get already share pics! i would love to see!

i dun think 100~400mm L will be on my list for a while....the 550d will stop my budget for a while, coz still have to consider some basic additional accessoires like UV filter, screen protector.

Is 18mm and 55mm really makes a lots of different on normal shooting?

Or else I might go for 550d Body + 55~250mm IS

18-55 is like a walkabout lens, depends on what you shoot actually. If you only wanna choose 1 lens, i would recommend the 18-55 instead of 55-250mm, unless you zoom very very often and your subject is always far far away..

so currently u only use 50mm f1.8. you dont use UWA lenses to shoot landscapes? hm, never ever considered 3rd party for your 70-200 f2.8? i've seen comparison pictures, sharpness wise, not much diff imo.

yes, currently taking my wife portrait only. did some research but the price for 3rd party also 1k+.. so better save up abit to get the canon one.. no landscape.. for family photo i am thinking to get prime 35mm f2 or 28mm f2.8 (but they can wait)

i just got my 17-55 today. selling my 50mm. anyone interested? lol. cheaper for 550d buddies. if not i sell @ 100 in marketplace already.

i wanna get 70-200 f4 IS! i think it's alot more friendly in size and to my pocket.

my clever sister bought the screen protector from ebay cause she lazy to go help me buy. If it stated as 550d i assume it will not dont fit my screen right?

I bought one too. It state 550D and it fit nicely.

starting i thought the problem is on my eye but i really cant stand it then i ask my sister to try it out. She also think the same. Well i hope i did adject it back already as now it is abit better than before

Most people will see things sharp when the diopter scope is turn to the left unless you do not have good eyesight, adjust accordingly till the viewfinder looks sharp to you. :)

hallo fellow 550D-ers,

anyone got this i-discovery 3rd party battery as freebies? Its a 3rd party brand, not sure if anyone has experience with it. Am wary of using 3rd party batteries after hearing possible damage etc.

Locally is there any place I can buy, and how much ? Thanks Bros.:)

it is a camara bag by crumpler, 5million dollar is the design / size. I have PM u the picture already pls let me know if u r interested

Is there a photo? Is it a camera bag or normal crumpler?

well usually 3rd party extra batt r not from canon direct, they are just 3rd party. Same apply to all mobile phone or other games which give free batt. I will suggest u use it on and off so that it will not affect ur camara so much (i also dont know wat logic) well unless u on ur camara 24hrs a day or u use it for a full day shooting if not it will not really used the extra battary.

Yep shooting stills alone wunt use up ur fully charged batt, but using live view and/or shooting video probably might
