I was also contemplating between a Fastpack 250 and Versapack 200. I like the Fastpack because I can put a laptop and it also comes with a huge compartment at the top to dump in laptop adaptor and other camera accessories like cleaning kit but a pity it doesn't come with the pouch and clips to accomodate a tripod. It also does not have a rain cover. Due to that, I bought the Versapack instead as I prefer to have my tripod clipped to my backpack. Both models allow you to grab the camera from the side, fast.

It was $115. The fastpack was $145 IIRC at OP.

How about squeezing in? I think there's some space for my 550D without the BG but I haven't tried it with a BG.

i m considering btw 2 lenses... is a 75-300mm or a 55-250mm better? AND BEFORE EVERYONE STARTS SPAMMING SAYING 55-250MM IS BETTER, i'd like to request that u explain ur reason for saying so (eg with a side by side comparison of pics). thanks alot!

fastpack 250 is very fast and easy for you to grab your camera.. google it.. backpack is good to carry a heavy equipment because you wont feel as heavy as sling bag..

Your EF38-76mm f/4.5-5.6 lens is an old lens from last time? Got sample pics to see? ;p

yep it is, and surprisingly it still works and its electronic too! shows how old canon lens system is..

here i had to set it to ISO 3200, exp down -2.66 steps,f/5.6 juz for ur info

PS: i feel like reinforcing my eos bag with carbon fibre all of a sudden haha

Guys, i'd just got the Lowepro Rezo190AW, thinking to use this bag for walkabout.

But on the other hand, it be kinda hassle if I were to carry a Tripod along, so I checked on Lowepro, their Fastpacks as what some of you guys discuss over. I was thinking the Fastpack100, but afraid that it can't fit my cam with batt grip. Fastpacks 250 with the laptop compartment seems to big for me.

I'd also checked the fastpacks design where I can retrieve my cam from the side of the bag.

So, guys what's your take if you were me ? Pls do give suggestion..

just received it today! muahahaha. tested it out, feel ok to me tho.. this model is friend recommend to me becos they tried original canon ones and this, no difference.. just branding. i seriously forget exactly where i get it from, will check it out and get back to you guys.

I just got my RS-802/C1. How do you confirm it is working?


When I press the gray button, it will auto focus. When I push up, it takes a photo and the "focus confirmation light" in the viewfinder light. Is that consider working? How do I know the shutter is lock?

Nope bro, I don't intend to put in my laptop. Mine is a heavy 17' Laptop.. for home use..

I will make a trip to CP or TK Foto to have a feel on the bags.. see which one I'll prefer and get opinions..
