Oh ok, but the thing is...the lens that was in use (EF24-70) doesn't have IS. Thanks for your explanation. I'll arrange for a trip to CSC but no hurry since the solution is quite simple when it happens.

Anybody else experienced this before?

i hv the same problem also. I use a variety of lenses from Canon to Sigma. I just take out the batt to solve the problem

Anyone try to add picture style on to the 5D via EOS utility on windows 7.. Apparently there is no support/driver for 5D classic on windows 7 ( i google'd). Is there an alternative way to add picture styles!!

Bro, according to the USA canon site. Windows 7 does not require the software driver for 5D. You can refer to the info here and also download whatever you need.

can't, i need to change my communication to "PC Connect" inorder to use EOS utility. windows 7 won't recognize when i change it to that, but for "PTP/print" it's ok that's why no problems uploading photos to comp.

recently wanna try a picture style that's why i tried EOS utility, after googling realize windows 7 got no support.

yup, sadly this camera body is not compatible with win 7, no choice but to use XP for this.

This thread have been very quiet for a while. I need some help from u guys:

What screen protector do u guys use? I think it is about time for me to change mine already. Went to a few shops and most do not have the screen protector for the top LCD. Kindly let me know where u bought from.

Also, I m in the Market for a neck strap, but many I saw in shop are not very good. What will be a better neck strap for comfort when the 5d is mounted with flash and a L lens? I have been using canon ones all these while and have lost touch with what's available in the Market.

Hope to hear your comments guys and gals.

I'm using the Crumpler Industry Disgrace, most comfortable strap i've ever worn.

Mind to share where u bought it? Or any in Mass Sale sells it? Artworkfoto don't have it :(

Anyway, I m now using this with the 35 f2 and 85 f1.8. Have been pleased with them. I am thinking of adding the 50mm sigma. I am mad about taking portraits of my kids and wife. It is a waste of money to get that since I already have the 85?

I shoot both indoor and outdoor.

I got my screen protector from Martin Fields. I ordered at 10am and they delivered at 6pm same day.

Would recommend Crumpler industry disgrace if you sling your cam on one shoulder often, it does not slip off easily and is comfy when used on your neck.

Another good strap is from Optech, either the classic or pro loop versions. Will recommend this if you dun sling your cam on one shoulder often cos it tends to slip off. Its slightly springy cos of the neoprene material.
