Yeah even though it's in the bag but the height from top to road surface apprx 2ft but was relief

Not so bad leh, mine fell from around half a meter to the ground without any bag and my 600EX-RT, 5D and 12-24's lens cap metal ring took the full impact directly.

Bro go get it, you will not regret. The only thing you need to prepare mentally is sensor dust, which means you may need to clean the sensor every few months.

Throughout my usage, any mis-focus is due to my own mistake, and not due to the camera.....I don't use it to take sports though

Sensor dusts are inevitable for any DSLR user.

Still find no need to upgrade becos of a small nick near the shutter button.

Also it's becos 5D3 now is still over $4k.

Well it seems to work fine for me at least - Another one with the budget 17-35... you can obviously see the distortion which I haven't correct.

Whoah!!! I love these photos as a reminder of the 3 years I lived in Hong Kong!

The first photo... was it taken with the Sigma 12-24?
The second photo was obviously taken from "The Peak".
The third photo... please remind me the name of this building and where it's located. I know I've seen this building before!
The fourth photo... my favourite building in the entire world... The Bank of China building... it looks even better at night!

All pics were taken with the 12-24 as I only brought that lens. The 3rd photo's building is co-related to the 2nd photo and on top of it is the observatory platform, that's where I took the 2nd photo.

Of course... Now I remember the building in your 3rd photo. It is part of the attractions at the Peak!

Interesting that you limited yourself to the Sigma 12-24 only. You must have a lot of confidence in this lens. It certainly did the job in Hong Kong!

I simply love wide angles and especially when u're overseas, it's a must.

Usually when i'm overseas I only use 12-24. Even when I brought everything to Taiwan and China previously, it's still this lens only.

I love wides too and I must get the 12-24 before the end of the year. The only problem is that it's so expensive in Toronto. I'll be coming back to Singapore in August so I'll likely buy that lens there. I would get a 2nd hand copy but I see so few times on B&S.

If so, i'd suggest u buy new off the shelf as a safety barrier.

Oh my gosh... what a spetacular photograph! I was just at the Gardens-by-the-Bay last week before my return to Toronto. I got a few decent photographs but nothing to compare with what you've managed! I walked for hours to find a good vantage point and found a few that were alright but nothing that compares to your photograph.

Would you mind sharing:

i) your shooting location?
ii) EXIF info?

Again, congrats on a great photograph!
