Doing the conversion that's 46.8 inches by 33.1 inches or just less than 4 feet by 3 feet. That's massive!

Sure no problem.

Here is some pics taken with my phone.

I did very little cropping, about 8.2 mb for the file.

DPi 100, the shop did a little adjustment.

Done with silver framing too, matte finish.

Cost:
A0 size, foam board mount, silver frame, walk in customer, about 30 mins ready, $42.

Good looking dog!... and an amazing photo! Well done!

Let us know how the double A0 size turns out.

Sure. keep you updated.

Thought of getting a A3 sleeves holder and send some nice work for printing, since per print about $5-6, viewing work pieces and showing to friends or clients looks so much "real" compared to current high tech 7inch 10inch tablet..

can't remember the name of the shop but there are many print shops in sunshine plaza. since competition is high, prices should be ranging + or - around there.

for my case if i didn't do the silver framing, A0 prints would be $30, A1, A2, A3, would be cheaper by a lot.

What is the minimum file size that is required to produce a photo of that size (A0) and still maintain acceptable visual resolution (ie. avoid grainy look)?

not too sure, but prob best if shoot in raw then convert to jpg ba. Won't be much of grainy look, but just a little pixelated.

Shoot in full 12mp would be safe for A0 and above size. :)

Hi guys, I juz got myself a 5d classic & was blown away by it's IQ with my normal lens tamron 70-300 VC.

However when I mount my YN 568EX flash on the body, it was not able to fire off.

Check the menu in body & there's only a fire or disable function.

Can any of u guys enlighten me?
Is it Becos this newer flash is not compatible with our classic body?
Thks in advance!

do u have any other flashes? borrow a friends canon to see if it fires. if the 568 worked with your previous body i dont see why it wont work with the 5d. I dont suppose u tested the hotshoe when u were testing it.

Hi Bro, I do not hv other flashes to verify.
The interesting part is when I pair my body & flash with aputure trigmaster, flash can be fire off...meaning hotshoe on my body is working ya?

Go to a shop and try out original speedlites and direct mount, if it fires means ok. I've always something about compatibility issues with 3rd party speedlites.

U're welcome! If possible try getting your hands on one of Canon's speedlites, u'll feel more happier in the long run.

Budget Ah Bro...haha.
Which model will u recommend? Will 580ex be good enough for a leisure shooter like me?

The 580EX is a professional flash and may be overkill for the average leisure shooter. But of course some leisure shooters are not average and may require the power and sophistication of a professional flash. For the rest of us, the Speedlite 430 is more than enough.

Go for the best you can afford. For me it's either the 580EX II or 600EX-RT, nothing less. For your needs the 580 series is gd enough. If budget then the 430EX.
