is it possible to connect it to a camera? anyone here used it before? like how's the MF? the aperture? sharpness? resolution? CA? if not bad,....hmm......no reason why not to use it.:think:

If your intention of getting the scope is to eventually use if with a DSLR, best to do more research on it and the expected photo quality you can get from it.
Good quality scope are not cheap and the DSLR scope adaptor is another pricy item as well. Need to be aware of the f-stop you getting from the scope and focusing method you need to use.

hey guys, since right now i was too late to raise money for the supertele, i decided to go to the other side my setup is currently lacking,----macro. for macro, i have tried the 50mm and 90-100mm range before. so far, 50mm is kind of quite useless to me as its distance to achieve 1:1 is like so darn close. right now, i know alot of pp going to recommend the tamron 90mm, but i just need to know whether it is worthwhile to get the 180mm macro. i haven't used 180mm macro before so i can't really relate my experiences with it. do any of you think that 180mm would be a better choice as compared to the 90mm? thanks!

50mm macro not bad.. tried out tankm 50mm macro during the last outing, quite good if can get close to the subject..

Wonder if any of you can recommend some store that can repair a sticky aperture and minor fungi on my Minolta 35-105 (old metal version)? Also, how much should it cost.
Also have some fog in my Minolta 28-85, will also send in for repair at the same time.

can try sony service centre at wisma. that way the lens will be serviced by a km tech. as for pricing, i helped a friend call around a few shops asking for quotes for fixing sticky aperture, and surprisingly, the sony price was about the same as the other shops.
don't have much experience with lens repair though, so maybe the others will have different inputs.
